It's Friiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaaaay!
Why does that just bring so much joy into me? There's a bit of a spring in my step, a hitch in my giddyup, and grin on my face that has nothing to do with gettin' some last night...all because the end of the week is here!!
Big plans for the weekend include:
- getting a depo shot so I can continue my wanton ways relatively assured of no babies
- working @ TCF both this evening and all day Saturday
- visiting a former student who was in a car accident this summer (she's paralyzed)
- going to see The Lettermen at Grand Casino on Sunday
- stopping at The Local for Erin's birthday (a friend from grad school)
- putting together my new furniture & arranging my living room.
I'm actively looking for other PT work, as the TCF hours are sporadic and I have to go all over the metro. Friday I work at Blaine East, and Saturday at Fridley. Now, variety is fine and dandy, but at the same time, you guys know me - I'm a routine type of person. I need things that are fairly stable (read: boring) to keep me on track. So I applied for a job at Border's by my house, as well as teaching ABE (adult basic ed) at Minnetonka Public Schools in the evenings. We'll see what shakes out.
For now, it's FRIDAY and I am pumped!!

I think you use the the phrase "getting some" more than anyone I know...does that mean you are getting more than anyone else. LOL...
I have a love of Fridays as well. Actually we usually have our survivor-date-night on Thursday so that kind of starts the weekend for me. Although flipping the weekend switch in my head that early causes Fridays to SLOWLY tick by. And how dumb am I to schedule a painful event committee meeting for a 2 hours midday meeting. Barf.
Here's hoping your Friday rocks.
Ha! I probably do use that phrase a lot...I don't know if it means I'm actually getting more than anyone else; maybe I just need to get used to a regular repertoire of nookie and then I won't feel the need to mention it all the time. You know me - I'm more of the one-nighter girl than the long-term girl. It takes some getting used to.
As for the meeting, I say - skip it. You look/sound sick - I think you need to go home!!!
Well, you're likely getting more than this old married lady. Kudos to you for that.
Sorry I missed the fun banter today, I was super busy until about 2:30, after all you slackers had left for the day. As you can tell, we're having a boring evening at home, watching TV and surfing the internets. Hope you have a great weekend!
Ha! Skip work - schmip work....I ended up working at the office until almost 6:00 on Friday!! I am working to learn some new programs so I had someone in to help me learn/work through some of the basics. Blech.
I request more posts and discussion by all this week...
How was the weekend?
